Director, Sales - BU Pig, Asia 

 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director Sales to lead our Pig business segment across Asia. Reporting to the Head of Region, this strategic leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share and strengthening customer relationships in a fast-evolving agricultural landscape.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for the Company’s Pig sales-related activities including developing new business, growth strategies and opportunities and maximize long term profitable volume growth.
  • Realize sales budget (target) both in volume, margin and market share.
  • Analyze the market and determine the sales strategy including a market-specific pricing policy.
  • Participate in generating “Proven Solutions”, sales manuals, product and solution templates for proposals, meetings, workshops and other specific sales material.
  • Recommend and take part in trade shows and other relevant marketing projects.
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service and manage key client relationships.
  • Works in close collaboration with Sales Support & Engineering to ensure a smooth order handling process and by forwarding feedback from customers or new product ideas/markets requirements to the respective departments.
  • Give advice on farm design and lay-out, negotiate price within limits of authority and payment terms.
  • Recommend and implement detailed annual sales operating plans and preparation of sales performance reports for strategic analysis and review on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Lead, mentor and develop the sales and sales support team in achieving the Company’s objectives and goals and deliver excellent service to the customers.
  • Prepare and submit investment budget and sales forecast.
  • Attends trade shows and conventions to further promote the brand and develop relationships.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Degree in Agribusiness (preferably pigs), Marketing, Engineering or any other related field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ investment/capital goods experience in pig equipment industry with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Excellent business acumen, sales, networking and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and able to work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills with good presentation abilities.
  • Able to travel within the Asia region.
