Claims Coordinator
Big Dutchman, Inc. located in Holland, MI provides a complete line of poultry, egg, and swine
production equipment around the world. With 85 years of experience, Big Dutchman is the
global leader in the development of new technology for the industry. We are currently looking
for a Claims Coordinator who has a crucial role in facilitating the claims process, ensuring
timely resolution, and maintaining customer satisfaction. If you are a qualified candidate

Responsibilities:
• Development of claim handling process and procedures that maintain
internal controls using software platforms (E2, CRM, etc.)
• Investigate order shortages, damages, and replacements, and then
correspond the findings to appropriate parties to insure resolution.
• Follow up on incoming questions/requests from customers using effective
communication, problem solving techniques and ensure
information/documentation is filed accurately for future reference.
• Provide feedback and relevant information to all internal and external
customers to improve overall processes.
• Organize daily work, prioritize work time and effectively manage deadlines.
• Ensures information/documentation is maintained accurately for future
reference.
• Serves as the key contact with customers to understand the problems,
communicate the implementation of solutions, using effective
communication and problem-solving techniques.
• Track and identify the root cause of the issues on site and take corrective
action measures.
• Other duties or projects assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
• 2-year business degree or 3-5 years equivalent experience.
• Must possess Mechanical/Technical aptitude.
• High level of organizational skills and exceptional attention to details
• Process oriented and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with CRM systems a plus but not required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and coordinate across departments.
• Proficientwith Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
