Purpose of Role
The Inside Sales Representative builds customer relationships and improves sales of spare parts and services. This is an internal position with primary customer contact made through email and telephone calls.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Proactively market spare parts and achieve internal sales goals
- Maintain regular contact with and relevant information on key customers. Communicate the needs and preferences that will result in improved customer satisfaction and sales
- Create and present spare part package offerings
- Actively manage spare part and service marketing channels (web shop, hotline, order processing, etc.)
- Perform competitor analysis and adjust BD selling strategies as required
- Maintain relevant customer data in CRM
- Recommend pricing strategies and changes to improve business results
- Other projects as assigned. This is a new position that will be adjusted as needed
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of sales, customer service, or technical support related experience
- 2 or more years of college preferred
- Knowledge of the agriculture industry
- Ability to understand and explain the basic functions of Big Dutchman equipment
- Strong interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong listening and phone presence skills
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail
- Ability to travel as required in the USA, Canada and Germany up to 10% average
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, CRM, Camos and ERP systems
