                                                        Import & Export Analyst (10000173)  

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the entire import process (ocean, air, and road), from purchase order to arrival and clearance of goods.
  • Review and validate international shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, BL, AWB, Certificates, etc.).
  • Monitor customs clearance with brokers, ensuring compliance with deadlines and current legislation.
  • Negotiate with international suppliers and freight forwarders to optimize logistics costs and delivery times.
  • Prepare and control import cost spreadsheets (tax calculation, fees, and related expenses).
  • Manage special customs regimes such as temporary admission, drawback, bonded warehouses, among others.
  • Interface with regulatory agencies (MAPA, ANVISA, IBAMA, etc.) when applicable.
  • Support internal and external audits related to foreign trade.
  • Maintain and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the area.
  • Propose process improvements and support training for the team.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in import operations in Brazil.
  • Proven experience in LATAM logistics and import/export regulations (Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Peru and etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with special customs regimes (e.g., drawback, ex-tariff) is a plus.

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and Brazilian Federal Revenue rules, with additional understanding of LATAM trade agreements (MERCOSUR, Pacific Alliance, USMCA, etc.).
  • Tariff classification (NCM/HS Code).
  • Systems: Siscomex, ERP systems (SAP, TOTVS, Oracle), and logistics tracking tools.
  • Advanced English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Spanish is a strong advantage for regional coordination.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
