Logistic Manager (10002910)
Responsible for leading Big Dutchman’s entire logistics operation in Brazil, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and a high standard of service for customers in the Egg, Poultry Meat, and Pig segments. The role includes both strategic and hands-on responsibilities across demand planning, warehousing, distribution, and transportation, ensuring compliance, cost reduction, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Manage distribution centers, inventory, warehousing, and internal material flows.
- Plan and coordinate transportation activities, route planning, delivery lead times, and distribution performance.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and product integrity, including equipment and spare parts.
- Develop logistics KPIs, monitor costs, and implement efficiency initiatives and expense reduction actions.
- Ensure operations align with Big Dutchman project requirements (equipment, poultry houses, farms, systems).
- Work closely with engineering, sales, procurement, and after-sales teams to ensure excellence in customer service.
- Lead operational and administrative teams, fostering development and a continuous improvement culture.
- Implement sustainability, safety, and compliance practices across logistics processes.
- Contribute to defining Supply Chain strategies in Brazil and Latin America.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial/Production Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Strong experience in logistics management, supply chain, or operations within industrial or equipment companies.
- Knowledge of import/export, warehousing, and transportation management.
- Experience with WMS, SAP and BI tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Intermediate/advanced English (Spanish is a plus).
- Experience with large-scale projects or complex operations is a plus.
- Availability for national and international business travel.
- Must be based in Araraquara, SP.
