Senior Accountant
- Execute and review accounting entries, including accruals, allocations, and reclassifications, ensuring consistency and high-quality information.
- Perform analyses, reconciliations, and validations of general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.
- Lead the monthly and annual close, meeting deadlines and ensuring the accuracy of deliverables.
- Monitor and interpret changes in accounting and tax legislation, assessing impacts and supporting required adjustments.
- Provide support to internal areas (e.g., Tax, Controlling, FP&A, Audit) in technical discussions and in understanding the accounting impacts of operations.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation, ensuring traceability, compliance, and support for internal/external audits.
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of accounting records with applicable standards and current legislation.
- Propose and implement process and internal control improvements, aiming for efficiency, risk reduction, and standardization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (completed).
- Preferred: English and Spanish.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial/manufacturing companies.
