Responsibilities
- Perform, train, supervise, and guide installation and commissioning activities, including data network installation, controller installation, software setup, and general equipment assembly for customers, dealers/representatives, technicians, and third-party installers, in accordance with Big Dutchman technical specifications and product manuals.
- Perform, train, supervise, and guide preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, electrical panels, motors, and equipment electrical systems, ensuring products operate in optimal condition and meet the company’s quality standards.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs by interpreting electrical schematics, drawings, catalogs, and performing technical analysis and evaluation; disassemble, refurbish/recover, assemble, test, and replace components as required.
- Perform, guide, and supervise emergency maintenance; respond to service calls via work orders, conduct risk assessments, and request/coordinate required spare parts.
- Support the planning and scheduling of after-sales and installation services (assessing resource, material, and labor needs).
- Provide after-sales support and technical guidance via phone calls, messages, emails, remote access, and on-site field visits.
- Prepare reports for all service activities performed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
- Ensure electrical safety certifications (e.g., NR-10 or equivalent, as applicable) remain up to date in coordination with the HSE/Safety team.
- Ensure the quality of services delivered.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and uniforms.
Technical Qualifications
- Technical degree or higher education in Automation, Electrical Engineering/Technology, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
- Knowledge of electrical control circuits, PLCs, and residential/building and industrial electrical systems.
- Knowledge of electro-pneumatics (preferred).
- Intermediate English (preferred).
Additional Requirement
- Availability for frequent travel.
